Mentoring Opportunities Available!

Mentors can make a dramatic impact in the lives of those that they help. Mentors model positive behaviors and teach valuable life skills. Research has also shown that mentoring benefits not only the mentee but also brings a great sense of satisfaction to the mentor.

The Elizabeth Ann Seton Program is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 mentoring organization which started right here in Springfield. We provide pregnant and parenting women mentoring support, education and practical assistance. Our volunteer mentors teach positive parenting skills, give encouragement and become a trusted friend to a new mother who may have no other support. What does it take to become a mentor? Only a few hours a month and a caring heart.

As an Elizabeth Ann Seton Program mentor you will receive training and support from our dedicated staff as well as become a part of a team whose motto is “Mentoring Mothers to be Great Moms”.

If you would like more information on how to become a mentor, or want to offer other services such as providing child care during meetings, teaching educational classes, or helping in the office, contact Jennifer Schultz at 217-757-6025 for more information!
