On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Elizabeth Ann Seton Program, we would like to invite you to the 5th Annual Moms Go Back to School Luncheon to benefit the mothers and children we serve.
The luncheon is on Thursday, September 8th, 2016, beginning at noon at the Dove Conference Center in Springfield, IL.
Our keynote speaker for the event is Linda Shanklin. Linda Shanklin is the proud mother of two sons, Frank Iguodala Jr & Andre Iguodala, NBA basketball player. Linda enjoys working and giving back to the community, empowering youth to reach their full potential through education and healthy living.
Moms Go Back To School will raise funds for the Elizabeth Ann Seton Program educational efforts. All mothers are encouraged to return to school after the birth of their child. EAS has learned over the past 20 years that those moms who make the greatest strides toward independence are those who continue their education.
EAS partners in conducting monthly parenting classes at area high schools and conducts weekly classes at the Lawrence Adult Education Center and the Contact Ministries shelter. We also provide assistance to mothers wishing to complete their G.E.D. We are able to do all this with your support!
The mission of the Elizabeth Ann Seton Program is to embrace the sanctity and dignity of life by nurturing pregnant and parenting women. EAS partners with multi-faith congregations and community organizations to provide support, education and practical assistance to women and their children.
Tickets are $35 per person or $350 per table. We have many opportunities to become a sponsor of the event. If interested in attending or sponsor options please feel free to call Dawn Morris, Executive Director, at (217) 757-6025.
We appreciate your interest in supporting the women and children of our community!
