On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Elizabeth Ann Seton Program, we would like to invite you to the Back to School Basics Luncheon to benefit the mothers and children we serve.
The luncheon is on Thursday, October 9th, 2018, beginning at noon at the Christ the King Parish Hall in Springfield, IL.
Back2School Basics will raise funds for the Elizabeth Ann Seton Program educational efforts. All mothers are encouraged to return to school after the birth of their child. EAS has learned over the past 20 years that those moms who make the greatest strides toward independence are those who continue their education.
EAS partners in conducting monthly parenting classes at area high schools and conducts weekly classes at the Lawrence Adult Education Center and the Contact Ministries shelter. We also provide assistance to mothers wishing to complete their G.E.D. We are able to do all this with your support!
With your support and the support of other caring sponsors, EAS can continue to provide tangible items and help cover school expenses and funding for the GED testing. Last year alone, moms “in school” earned over 10,000 diapers in this program! None of this is possible without the help of our supporters.
Teen Mom, Jacie, says….” Without the weekly diapers from EAS I would not have been able to obtain my high school diploma. I would have had no choice but to drop out and get a job! Thank you EAS for all you did for me and my baby girl.”
Tickets are $35 a person with many opportunities to be an event sponsor.
